BackerToday guarantees that if your project does not receive the new pledges equal to the amount you paid, we will refund the difference.
Example: If your project receives only $300 in new pledges from BackerToday members after the campaign ends, contact us and we will process a $299 refund ($599 – $300 = $299).

BackerToday (“BT”, “we”, or “us”) is operated by BackerToday Inc. We provide a community-driven platform to help backers discover projects on Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and Shopify.

- You may submit projects from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Shopify.
- Only projects you own or are authorized to share should be submitted.
- We review each submission to ensure it meets our community standards and quality expectations.
- Not all projects will be featured, but we may provide feedback if there’s room for improvement.
- By submitting your project, you grant BackerToday a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your project within our platform, newsletters, or social media.

For example, if your project receives only $300 in new pledges after the campaign ends, you can contact us and we will process a $299 refund. Only projects that you own or are authorized to share may be submitted. All submissions are reviewed to ensure they meet community standards and quality expectations, and while we strive to feature as many projects as possible, not all submissions may be displayed. By submitting a project, you grant BackerToday a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your project across our platform, newsletters, and social media.
Some features may require registration with a username, password, and accurate contact information, including your email, which will be used solely to notify you about your submission and relevant updates. We take your privacy seriously; personal information such as your name, email, and address is never sold or shared with third parties without your consent and is stored securely in the US and other locations where BackerToday operates. Publicly posted content, such as comments or social media posts, may be visible to others, so please be mindful of what you share.
Participation in surveys, contests, or referral programs is voluntary and implies consent to use your information for the purposes described in each activity. Referrals may require your friend’s email, which will only be used to send a one-time invitation and track participation. You or your friends may request deletion of any submitted information by contacting hello@backertoday.com.
BackerToday is a community platform, not a crowdfunding or payment guarantee service. Users must respect others and not submit offensive, illegal, or sensitive personal content. We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate our guidelines. While we strive to support creators, BackerToday cannot guarantee project success or funding outcomes, and users back projects at their own discretion. We employ physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal data, which is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill legitimate purposes or as required by law. Continued use of the platform after updates to these terms, privacy, and submission policies constitutes acceptance of the updated policies.
